You can delete your Wishlist account yourself, anytime, in the app or on the website. It happens right away and can't be undone.
How to delete it
- Sign in and open Settings (in the app, tap your photo on the home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. You're signed out once it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account, email address, name and photo.
- Your wishlist: every item, link, note, price and uploaded photo.
- Kids' lists that only you manage. A kid with another parent keeps their list; you just come off it.
- Your gift exchange memberships, the invites you sent, and invites sent to you.
- Your notes and in-app notifications, and your AI helper key.
- The app's push notification tokens for your phones.
- Gifts you'd said you'd get open up again for others. Nobody is told it was you.
What stays, without your name
- Gifts you already bought or wrapped stay marked as bought, shown as "Someone", so nobody buys them twice.
- Gift exchanges you started pass to another adult in them. If there's nobody else, the exchange is archived.
- Our AI usage log keeps its cost totals, with your account removed from it.
Can't sign in?
Email hello@wishlist.holiday from the address you sign in with and we'll delete it for you. See our privacy page for what we keep.
